Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor for infrastructure projects including road maintenance, park upkeep, and facility repairs
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery (e.g., excavators, dump trucks) and hand tools safely
- Assist in emergency response during severe weather events or public safety incidents
- Conduct site inspections and document progress using digital tools (remote flexibility available)
- Collaborate with engineering teams on project planning and implementation
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Participate in community beautification initiatives and public events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years experience in construction, maintenance, or related field
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficiency with digital reporting tools (remote work option for documentation)
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Must pass background check and pre-employment physical
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and emergency shifts
