Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including digging, shoveling, lifting, and carrying materials
- Assist in road maintenance, sidewalk repairs, and infrastructure projects
- Operate hand tools and light equipment safely and efficiently
- Participate in landscaping, groundskeeping, and debris removal
- Ensure work areas meet safety standards and cleanliness protocols
- Collaborate with team members on project timelines and objectives
- Respond to emergency weather-related public works needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean record
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety procedures
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in teams
- Experience in construction, landscaping, or public preferred
