Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery and hand tools for infrastructure projects
- Perform routine maintenance on roads, parks, and city facilities
- Assist in stormwater management and drainage systems
- Execute landscape and beautification projects citywide
- Safely handle hazardous materials under supervision
- Participate in emergency response and disaster recovery
- Follow all OSHA and city safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Texas Driver's License (Class C)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Commitment to completing paid training program
