Responsibilities
- Perform heavy equipment operation (backhoes, graders, dump trucks) for infrastructure maintenance
- Execute road repair, drainage system upkeep, and park landscaping projects
- Conduct daily safety inspections and adhere to OSHA protocols
- Assist in emergency response during severe weather events
- Maintain accurate records of work completion and materials usage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on urban beautification initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid Florida Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years construction/public works experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Basic knowledge of stormwater management systems
