Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties including road maintenance, drainage cleaning, and public park upkeep.
- Operate heavy and light construction machinery, such as dump trucks, loaders, and jackhammers.
- Assist with traffic control operations, including setting up cones, barriers, and signage.
- Maintain and clean work sites, tools, and equipment in strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Load, unload, and distribute construction materials and supplies.
- Respond to emergency public works requests and assist with snow removal during inclement weather.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid California Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Experience with basic hand tools, power tools, or heavy equipment operation is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and team collaboration.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts and varying weather conditions.
