Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks related to street maintenance, drainage, and landscaping.
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery and hand tools (e.g., rollers, excavators, shovels).
- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of public infrastructure, including sidewalks and curbs.
- Load and unload construction materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and departmental protocols on-site.
- Clear debris, snow, and ice from public roads and walkways during inclement weather.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand basic safety instructions and work orders.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
