Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor in road maintenance, park construction, and utility projects
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, loaders, and dump trucks
- Execute site preparation tasks including grading, trenching, and concrete pouring
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and safety protocol adherence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on municipal infrastructure projects
- Maintain clean and organized job sites per OSHA standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Florida Class E driver's license
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment operation experience
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
- Willingness to obtain CDL within 6 months of hire
