Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and material handling for public infrastructure projects
- Operate light machinery including jackhammers, compactors, and basic hand tools
- Maintain clean and safe job sites following OSHA standards
- Assist skilled tradespeople with installation and repair of public facilities
- Participate in seasonal beautification and snow removal operations
- Document daily work activities and material usage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shifts
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license (Class C minimum)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to various work sites
- Ability to follow verbal instructions precisely
