Responsibilities
- Execute infrastructure projects (roadways, drainage systems, parks)
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, graders, dump trucks)
- Maintain public facilities and right-of-ways
- Adhere to OSHA/TOSHA safety protocols
- Document project progress and material usage
- Collaborate with engineering teams on site plans
- Participate in emergency response operations
Qualifications
- 3+ years public works/construction experience
- Texas Class A or B CDL license
- OSHA 30-hour certification
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in extreme weather
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Basic blueprint reading skills
- HAZWOPER training preferred
- Spanish bilingual required
