Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling for public infrastructure projects
- Operate light machinery such as jackhammers, tampers, and basic hand tools under supervision
- Assist in road maintenance, park development, and stormwater management initiatives
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean work sites in compliance with OSHA standards
- Participate in emergency response operations during weather-related events
- Complete daily equipment checks and maintenance logs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- No prior experience required - we train all team members!
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (required for equipment operation training)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong work ethic and commitment to punctuality
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and safety guidelines
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends during project peaks
