Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including street repairs, drainage maintenance, and debris removal
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws) under supervision
- Assist in stormwater management and flood control initiatives
- Complete digital work logs and safety reports remotely
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and city regulations
- Participate in emergency response during severe weather events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic computer skills for remote documentation tasks
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Experience with hand/power tools and construction equipment
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
