Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and paving operations
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, power saws, trenchers) under supervision
- Install/maintain traffic control devices and safety barriers
- Conduct drainage system cleaning and stormwater management tasks
- Assist in park maintenance, landscaping, and facility upkeep
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Document daily work activities and material usage
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with clean record
- Minimum 1 year construction/maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and safety procedures
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
