Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, paving, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery and equipment under supervision
- Maintain job site safety protocols and cleanliness
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction and maintenance projects
- Conduct routine inspections of public infrastructure
- Prepare and secure work areas for public safety
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid New York State Driver's License
- OSHA 10-hour Construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Experience with hand/power tools and heavy equipment
- Strong physical stamina and weather adaptability
- Basic math and measurement skills
