Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers) for construction projects
- Perform road maintenance, grading, and asphalt repairs
- Install and maintain stormwater drainage systems
- Execute snow removal and emergency weather response
- Conduct routine inspections of public infrastructure
- Collaborate with engineering teams on site plans
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 2 years construction/labor experience
- Certification in heavy equipment operation preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of blueprints and construction plans
- Strong commitment to community service and public safety
