Responsibilities
- Perform street repairs, pothole patching, and asphalt maintenance
- Operate heavy machinery including backhoes, loaders, and dump trucks
- Assist in snow removal and storm response operations
- Conduct routine inspections of public infrastructure
- Collaborate with team members on construction and maintenance projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols
- Maintain accurate work records and equipment logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Missouri Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of construction or public works experience
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools
