Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor for infrastructure maintenance including road repairs, sidewalk construction, and storm drain clearing
- Operate heavy machinery (bobcats, dump trucks, jackhammers) with proper safety protocols
- Assist in seasonal projects like snow removal, vegetation control, and park maintenance
- Conduct site inspections and report maintenance needs to supervisors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on public works initiatives
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic preventative maintenance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred (training provided)
- Experience with hand/power tools and heavy machinery operation
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and team collaboration
- Flexible availability including weekends and emergency response shifts
