Responsibilities
- Assist in construction and maintenance of public roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate hand/power tools and light machinery safely
- Load/unload construction materials and debris
- Perform site cleanup and safety inspections
- Follow municipal safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Support emergency response during weather-related incidents
- Collaborate with engineering teams on project implementation
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver's license required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to follow verbal/written instructions
