Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery (excavators, graders, dump trucks)
- Perform manual labor for road construction and repair projects
- Conduct routine inspections of public infrastructure
- Implement erosion control and safety protocols
- Assist in stormwater management system maintenance
- Collaborate with engineering teams on project planning
- Complete digital work logs and reporting remotely
- Support emergency response during natural disasters
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Florida Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification
- Minimum 2 years heavy equipment operation experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Basic proficiency with digital reporting tools
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Spanish language skills preferred
