Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, paving, and landscaping
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, power washers) safely
- Assist in road maintenance, drainage system repairs, and snow removal
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work sites
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Collaborate with crews on infrastructure improvement projects
- Document work activities and material usage accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in all weather
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Basic mechanical aptitude and tool knowledge
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Prior public works/construction experience preferred
- Must be able to work flexible shifts including weekends
