Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor for infrastructure projects (roads, drainage, parks)
- Operate light machinery (backhoes, jackhammers, forklifts)
- Assist in emergency storm response and debris removal
- Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with supervisors and cross-functional teams
- Complete daily work logs and progress reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Louisiana driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Experience with construction tools preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math and measurement skills
