Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor in construction, maintenance, and repair of city streets, sidewalks, and parks
- Operate light machinery and equipment safely (e.g., mowers, hand tools, dump trucks)
- Assist in stormwater management and snow removal operations
- Conduct routine inspections of public facilities and report hazards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Minnesota driver's license with clean record
- 1+ years experience in construction, landscaping, or maintenance
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (training provided)
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and equipment operation
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
