Responsibilities
- Collect, load, and transport residential and commercial waste, recyclables, and yard waste to disposal sites.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of streets, alleys, and public right-of-ways.
- Assist with snow and ice removal operations during winter weather events.
- Operate heavy machinery, including dump trucks, front-end loaders, and street sweepers.
- Repair potholes, clear clogged drains, and perform minor infrastructure maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and municipal protocols.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License (Class C or CDL Class A preferred).
- Ability to perform heavy physical labor in all weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of traffic safety and construction signs.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed.
- Pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
