Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, landscaping, and infrastructure repairs
- Operate light machinery (mowers, trimmers, trucks) safely and efficiently
- Maintain public spaces, parks, and city facilities to high standards
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on municipal projects
- Document work activities and report equipment issues
- Respond to emergency weather-related city maintenance needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and equipment operation
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Willingness to obtain required certifications (training provided)
