Responsibilities
- Perform heavy equipment operation (excavators, loaders) for infrastructure maintenance
- Execute road repairs, sidewalk construction, and snow removal operations
- Conduct routine inspections of municipal facilities and grounds
- Operate hand/power tools safely during construction projects
- Maintain accurate records of materials and project progress
- Adhere to OSHA and city safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project efficiency
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Wisconsin Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years construction or heavy equipment experience
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Basic knowledge of blueprint reading and municipal standards
