Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance of city streets, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate light machinery (e.g., sweepers, mowers, snow removal equipment)
- Assist in park and facility maintenance including landscaping and repairs
- Respond to weather emergencies (snow/ice control, storm cleanup)
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain equipment inventory
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Missouri Driver's License with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in all weather conditions
- Basic equipment operation experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
