Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, graders) for construction and maintenance projects
- Perform snow removal, street sweeping, and seasonal landscape maintenance
- Inspect and repair public infrastructure including sidewalks, curbs, and drainage systems
- Enforce municipal codes during site inspections and compliance checks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on urban development initiatives
- Maintain accurate field reports and safety documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years construction/maintenance experience
- Valid Minnesota Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Knowledge of municipal infrastructure systems and best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
