Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and paving
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, compactors) safely
- Assist in road maintenance and repair projects
- Install and maintain traffic control signage
- Support stormwater management and drainage initiatives
- Collaborate with crew leads on daily project goals
- Adhere to OSHA and city safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical exam
- Previous construction or public works experience preferred
- Must pass background check and drug screening
