Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, paving, and landscaping
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws, graders)
- Maintain roads, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Assist in stormwater management and drainage systems
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects
- Document work activities and maintain equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Minimum 1 year construction/public works experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Basic equipment operation knowledge
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
