Responsibilities
- Perform heavy manual labor including excavation, grading, and concrete work
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, dump trucks, jackhammers) with proper safety protocols
- Install/maintain public utilities, roads, and drainage systems
- Adhere to OSHA standards and municipal safety regulations
- Collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure projects
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and safety checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction/public works experience
- Valid California Class C Driver's License
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Background check and drug screening required
- Basic blueprint reading skills
