Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment (tractors, mowers, dump trucks) for park maintenance and road repairs
- Perform manual labor including landscaping, debris removal, and facility upkeep
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain proper equipment maintenance protocols
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on infrastructure improvement projects
- Adhere to OSHA standards and municipal safety regulations
- Respond to emergency weather-related public service requests
- Document work activities and inventory usage using municipal systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Oklahoma Class D driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 1 year experience in construction, landscaping, or equipment operation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and irrigation systems
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
