Responsibilities
- Operate city-provided machinery (excavators, loaders, graders)
- Perform road maintenance and repair duties
- Assist in storm drain and sewer system upkeep
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and reporting
- Maintain clean and safe job sites per OSHA standards
- Participate in snow removal operations seasonally
- Document work progress and material usage
Qualifications
- Valid Nevada driver's license (Class B preferred)
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Experience with heavy machinery operation
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols
