We are actively seeking dedicated Public Works Laborers to join our dynamic infrastructure team in Chicago, IL. As a critical component of our municipal operations, you will contribute to the maintenance, repair, and improvement of the city's essential public assets, including roads, drainage systems, and public facilities.

Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks such as excavation, grading, backfilling, and paving operations.
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery and equipment, including jackhammers, rollers, loaders, and dump trucks.
- Assist in snow removal and ice control operations during winter months to ensure public safety.
- Repair and maintain public infrastructure, including potholes, guardrails, and drainage structures.
- Ensure strict compliance with all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with crew supervisors and site managers regarding project progress and hazards.
- Perform routine cleaning and inspection of work sites to maintain a professional environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid Driverβs License with a clean driving record is mandatory.
- Physical ability to perform heavy manual labor, including lifting 50+ lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and rain.
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or public works is highly preferred.
- Willingness to obtain a CDL Class B license (training provided if qualified).
- Strong commitment to teamwork, punctuality, and safety standards.
