Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, paving, and drainage system maintenance
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, compactors) safely and efficiently
- Assist in repairing roads, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Participate in stormwater management and flood prevention projects
- Maintain equipment and work areas in compliance with safety protocols
- Collaborate with crew members on daily task assignments
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety standards
- Experience with heavy equipment operation preferred
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and work in a team environment
