Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling for infrastructure projects
- Operate hand tools, power equipment, and light machinery safely and efficiently
- Assist in street repairs, sidewalk maintenance, and park facility upkeep
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule and within budget
- Conduct routine inspections and report infrastructure issues promptly
- Maintain clean and organized work areas following city standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean record
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety procedures
- Experience with heavy equipment operation preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must be available for occasional weekend/evening shifts
