Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor for infrastructure maintenance including road repairs, sidewalk installations, and park upkeep
- Operate light machinery (saws, jackhammers, power tools) under supervision
- Assist skilled tradespersons with material handling and site preparation
- Maintain clean and safe job sites following OSHA protocols
- Participate in storm response and emergency maintenance operations
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance reports
- Support recycling/solid waste collection initiatives as assigned
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year construction or public works experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in outdoor weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and safety procedures
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong teamwork ethic and reliability
