Responsibilities

  • Assist in the construction, maintenance, and repair of city roads, sidewalks, and public spaces.
  • Operate heavy machinery and hand tools, including jackhammers, rollers, and excavators, under supervision.
  • Perform traffic control duties, including setting up cones, signs, and flagging operations.
  • Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
  • Assist in grading, paving, and concrete work to ensure high-quality finishes.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

  • Valid Driver's License (Class A or B preferred) and a clean driving record.
