Responsibilities
- Operate hand/power tools for construction, maintenance, and repair projects
- Perform site preparation, excavation, and material handling duties
- Assist in traffic control and safety protocol implementation
- Maintain clean work areas and proper waste disposal
- Support equipment operation (e.g., dump trucks, jackhammers) with proper training
- Participate in emergency response for weather-related incidents
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California Driver's License (Class C)
- OSHA 10-hour Construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards
- Experience with hand/power tools and heavy equipment operation
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Willingness to obtain additional certifications (e.g., flagging)
