Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair sidewalks, curbs, and streets using hand/power tools
- Operate light machinery (e.g., street sweepers, dump trucks) safely and efficiently
- Assist in storm drain maintenance and flood prevention efforts
- Perform vegetation control and landscaping along public rights-of-way
- Document work activities and maintain accurate equipment logs
- Collaborate with crews during emergency response scenarios
- Adhere to all OSHA and municipal safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Washington State Driver's License with clean record
- Minimum 1 year construction/maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of traffic control flagging procedures
- Experience operating heavy equipment (certification a plus)
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
