Responsibilities
- Perform street repairs, sidewalk maintenance, and drainage system upkeep
- Operate heavy equipment (e.g., dump trucks, excavators) safely and efficiently
- Assist in snow removal and emergency weather response operations
- Conduct routine inspections of public infrastructure and document findings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on capital improvement projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and municipal safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of construction or public works experience
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and machinery maintenance
- Must pass background check and drug screening
