Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor for infrastructure maintenance including road repair, park upkeep, and facility maintenance
- Operate light machinery such as mowers, tractors, and snow removal equipment
- Conduct safety inspections and follow OSHA protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on municipal projects
- Document work activities and maintain equipment logs
- Respond to emergency weather conditions during off-hours
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Kansas driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment operation experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
