Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on sidewalks, streets, and public facilities
- Operate light/heavy machinery including sweepers, loaders, and jackhammers
- Assist in stormwater management and drainage system inspections
- Support park maintenance and green space rehabilitation projects
- Respond to emergency weather-related infrastructure repairs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on municipal infrastructure upgrades
- Document work activities and maintain equipment logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Washington State Driver's License (Class B preferred)
- Minimum 1 year experience in construction or public works
- Certification in OSHA 10-hour construction safety
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of municipal infrastructure systems
