Responsibilities
- Assist in construction, maintenance, and repair of public infrastructure (roads, bridges, parks)
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy equipment safely under supervision
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, and material handling
- Maintain clean work zones and adhere to OSHA safety standards
- Support stormwater management and environmental compliance initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on daily project goals
- Document work progress and equipment usage accurately
Qualifications
- No prior experience required—entry-level welcome!
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- Valid Oregon driver's license (Class C or higher)
- Commitment to workplace safety and team collaboration
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
