Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance of city roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate heavy equipment including excavators, backhoes, and dump trucks
- Assist in emergency stormwater and flood response operations
- Conduct routine inspections of public infrastructure and document findings

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid North Carolina Class B Commercial Driver's License
- Minimum 2 years experience in public works or construction
- Proficiency with digital reporting systems for remote work
- OSHA 10-hour certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
