Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and landscape installation
- Operate light equipment (e.g., jackhammers, saws, pressure washers) safely and efficiently
- Assist in road repair, sidewalk maintenance, and storm drain clearing
- Ensure work sites comply with OSHA safety standards and city protocols
- Load/unload materials and maintain organized storage areas
- Participate in emergency response during weather-related incidents
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction materials
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Experience in public works/construction preferred
