Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor in construction, repair, and maintenance of public infrastructure
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, loaders) and power tools safely
- Assist in road paving, drainage system maintenance, and park renovations
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project timelines and deliverables
- Document daily progress and material usage for project reporting
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Georgia Driver's License with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years construction or public works experience preferred
- Certification in equipment operation (e.g., CDL Class B) a plus
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification or willingness to obtain
