Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and asphalt/concrete repairs
- Operate heavy machinery safely (e.g., jackhammers, saws, compactors)
- Assist in street, sidewalk, and park maintenance activities
- Conduct routine inspections and report infrastructure issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project execution
- Maintain equipment and worksite safety protocols
- Support emergency response during weather-related incidents
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Washington State Driver's License
- Minimum 1 year construction/public works experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and safety procedures
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
