Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor for infrastructure projects including road maintenance, sidewalk repairs, and park beautification
- Operate heavy equipment safely (excavators, loaders, dump trucks) with proper certifications
- Assist in stormwater management and drainage system upkeep
- Conduct site preparation, material handling, and debris removal
- Adhere to OSHA/TOSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work zones
- Collaborate with engineering teams on public improvement projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Class A or B CDL license
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform strenuous physical activity
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- 1+ years of public works or construction experience preferred
