Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor for infrastructure maintenance including road repair, landscaping, and facility upkeep
- Operate light equipment (e.g., jackhammers, power tools) safely and efficiently
- Assist in traffic control and safety zone setup during construction projects
- Collect and dispose of debris and hazardous materials following OSHA protocols
- Conduct routine inspections of public works sites and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on stormwater management projects
- Maintain accurate work logs and inventory records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Arizona Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Experience with basic hand/power tools and equipment operation
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, dust, rain)
- Strong teamwork skills and commitment to public safety
- Pass background check and drug screening
