Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, landscaping, and infrastructure repairs
- Operate heavy machinery (dump trucks, graders, etc.) with proper safety protocols
- Assist in stormwater drainage system maintenance and debris removal
- Conduct routine inspections of public facilities and report issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on municipal improvement projects
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Adhere to OSHA and city safety regulations at all times
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license
- Minimum 1 year construction/maintenance experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and equipment operation
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Pass pre-employment background check and physical exam
