Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery including graders, excavators, and dump trucks
- Perform road repair, street cleaning, and drainage system maintenance
- Assist in construction projects including sidewalk repairs and traffic signal installations
- Conduct site inspections and document work progress
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License
- Minimum 1 year experience in construction or public works
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and heavy equipment operation
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
